This section of the site is devoted to the preliminary sketches I create before I jump into photoshop. Unless I create the entire illustration digitally, sketches done in pencil and paper are crucial in establishing anatomy, stance, angle and expression. At times I leave the image alone, as works done in graphite can be very expressive on their own
